Loss of heterozygosity of K-RAS in pancreatic cancer cell lines

ABSTRACT: iWT-KRAS-MIA PaCa-2 cells were treated with doxcycline and compared to untreated control. The PaCa-2 line, which harbors a G12C mutation in KRAS, has lost its WT KRAS allele with amplification of the mutant allele.These cells express WT KRAS mRNA and protein upon induction with doxcycline in a dose-dependent manner.
