Reversal of age-related deficits in skeletal muscle during disuse and recovery in response to treatment with a secrotome product derived from partially differentiated human pluripotent stem cells

ABSTRACT: We report that the use of high throughput RNA sequencing in C2C12 myotubes induced myotobule hypertrophy and promoted ECM remodeling through alterations in collagen synthesis and turnover. Transcripts for IGF-binding proteins and Fibromodulin suggest increases in growth and a suppression of myostatin.
