ABSTRACT: The aim of the study was to understand the differences in the transcriptome of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae BXO43 vs it's XopQ mutatnt that is virulence deficient. Our study indicates a key role of XopQ in regulating biofilm to planktonic lifestyle switch in Xoo.
