Comparison of genes differentially expressed between Medicago R108 and abi3 mutants (NF3185 and NF6003) during different stages of seed development (16, 24, 32 and 40 DAP)

ABSTRACT: ABI3 is a B3-domain transcription factor that acts as a master regulator of seed maturation. To identify genes that are regulated specifically by ABI3 in the model legume Medicago R108 during seed development, using the Medicago NimbleGen chip, a transcriptomic analysis was performed between abi3 mutants (NF3185 and NF6003) and R108 wild-type at 4 stages of seed development.

Using the Medicago NimbleGen chip, a transcriptomic analysis was performed to identify differentially expressed genes compared to the GUS expressed control.
