Upregulation of cytokine signalling in platelet increases risk of thrombophilia in severe COVID-19 patients

ABSTRACT: Our study reports that the over-expression of cytokine receptors as well as prothombotic genes of the platelets and high plasma level of proinflammatory cytokines aggravates thrombophilia in severly ill patients with COVID-19.
