Single nuclei RNA sequencing of mouse dorsal root and nodose ganglia in the setting of asthma-like airway inflammation.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Type 2 inflammation contributes to the pathology of airway diseases such as asthma and eosinophilic pneumonia. Yet how sensory neurons innervating the airways respond to type 2 airway inflammation is poorly understood. The goal of this study was to characterize transcriptional changes in sensory ganglia innervating the lungs in the setting of type 2 airway inflammation induced by Alternaria allergen treatment.
