Transcriptome analysis of microglia at day 3 and 20 following sepsis induction

ABSTRACT: Sepsis-associated encephalopathy is a common complication during systemic inflammation. Microglia are key player in this process. For a better understanding we compared isolated microglia from mice at day 3 and day 20 following induction of polymicrobial sepsis. We found a long-lasting inflammatory response of microglia following sepsis.
