NOX1 is essential for TNFα-induced intestinal epithelial ROS secretion and inhibits M cell differentiation [scRNA-seq]

ABSTRACT: Loss-of-function mutations of NOX1 is associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Mechanisms whereby loss of Nox1 drives IBD are incompletely defined. Here we used TNF⍺ treated colonoids to model IBD inflammation followed by single cell sequencing to get transcriptome profile of IBD relevant cells.
