Comparison of the effects upon gene expression of i.v. injection of plasma exosomes isolated from mice fed with differemt diets

ABSTRACT: We isolated plasma exosomes from mice fed for 6 weeks with either standard chow, a high-fat diet or standard chow with sucrose supplemented drinking water. We injected these exosomes into control mice fed standard chow and sacrificed them 72 h after the injection for tissue analysis We used microarrays to detail the global changes of gene expression induced by the injected exosomes in liver, adipose and muscle tissues
