Genome-wide maps of JARID2 chromatin state in MDA-MB-231 cells

ABSTRACT: In order to figure out the genomic binding landscape of JARID2, we analyzed the genome-wide transcriptional targets for JARID2 using the Chromatin immunoprecipitation based-deep sequencing (ChIP-seq) in MDA-MB-231 cells with antibodies against JARID2. Using Illumina HiSeq 2500, we found lots of JARID2-specific binding peaks and strong enrichment on the promoters of selected genes involved in classical pathways. This study gave us a new understanding of the role of JARID2 in chromatin status and gene transcription.
