Obesogenic high-fat diet and MYC cooperate to promote lactate accumulation and tumor microenvironment remodeling in prostate cancer


ABSTRACT: In this study, we investigated the effect of high-fat diet on prostate cancer progression. We specifically analyzed the metabolome, transcriptome, and tumor microenvironment of MYC transgenic and wild-type mice subjected to high-fat diet (enriched in saturated fat) and control diet for 21 weeks.
