Small RNA sequencing of adipose tissue derived extracellular vesicles and hippocampus from chow- or HFD-fed male mice
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We demonstrated that adipose tissue derived extracellular vesicles from HFD-fed mice could induce cognitive impairment. miRNAs in adipose tissue-derived EVs could be transferred to the hippocampus, which promotes synaptic damage and cognitive impairment. To identify the specific subtypes of miRNAs that responsible for cognitive impairment, we examined the sRNA profiles of hippocampus and EVs extracted from adipose tissue of Chow and HFD mice by RNA deep sequencing.
