Single-cell RNA-seq uncovers the early alterations of retina in type 2 diabetes mice

ABSTRACT: Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a complex disease, the early alterations of which remains to be investigated. We isolated retinas from the control and type 2 diabetes (T2D) mice and conducted scRNA-seq analysis using the 10x Genomics platform. We delineated the complete cellular landscape of retina and explored the early alterations of different cell subpopulations of them in T2D.
