Soybean nodule response to drought in two genotypes
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: To identify gene expression differences in soybean nodules related to nitrogen fixation drought tolerance, we progressively drought stressed two soybean genotypes, PI 471938 and Benning, over the course of one week. Both genotypes were inoculated with Bradyrhizobium diazoefficiens USDA 110. Nodules were harvested before stress (day 0/T0), when mild drought stress had developed (day 4/T1), and when severe drought stress had developed (day 7/T2).
