Effect of short-term glucose withdrawal on gene expression of MCF7 cells

ABSTRACT: MCF7 is an epithelial cell line isolated from the breast tissue of a patient with metastatic adenocarcinoma. Whether glucose autoregulates its own metabolism remains poorly understood. To probe this, we performed RNA-Seq analysis on MCF7 breast cancer cells cultured with/without short-term glucose withdrawal.
