ABSTRACT: Comparative RNA-sequencing of the mature leaf zones in Brachypodium distachyon wild type and bdmute mutants that do not form stomatal subsidiary cells was performed. The aim was to identify genes relevant for subsidiary cell function in B. distachyon.
