RNA sequencing of the mouse dentate gyrus in temporal lobe epilepsy

ABSTRACT: To explore the transcriptome of the ipsilateral and contralateral dentate gyrus during the first 2-weeks of temporal lobe epileptogenesis. Wild-type C57BL/6J mice underwent unilateral intrahippocampal injection of kainate or saline. Dentate gyri were extracted 3-days, 7-days and 14-days after injection and processed for RNA-sequencing.
