Optic nerve hypoplasia iPSC derived retinal ganglion cells exhibit differential gene expression with potential relevance to disease etiology


ABSTRACT: To investigate gentic contributions to optic nerve hypoplasia, induced pluripotent stem cells were produced from 3 patients and 3 controls. The iPSCs were differentiated to retinal organoids from which differential gene expression was performed on FACS isolated retinal ganglion cells.
