Short-term gene expression changes induced by malformin C in NCH421k patient-derived glioblastoma stem-like cells

ABSTRACT: Malformin C was identified in a fungal extract screen to selectively induce cell death in glioblastoma stem-like cells (GSCs). Gene expression changes were investigated at early time points before cell death was induced in order to gain insight into the mode of action of malformin C in GSCs.
