ABSTRACT: Expression of zc3h12a encoding Mcpip1 is tightly controlled within first cell divisions of zebrafish. Overexpression of Mcpip1 leads to the profound transcriptomic changes in the developing embryos and impairs early embryonic development of zebrafish.
