Single-cell transcriptome analysis of the germ cells and somatic cells during mitotic quiescence stage in goats

ABSTRACT: As goats are important domestic animals, the regulation of germline and gonadal somatic cells in goats during the mitotic quiescence phase has not been investigated previously. In this study, we employed single-cell RNA sequencing to identify transcriptional signatures of major prospermatogonia and somatic cell types of the testes in goats from E85, E105 and E125.
