Gene expression profile at single cell level of immune cells following spinal cord injury
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Immune cells infiltrate extensively into the lesion area after spinal cord injury and persist chronically, playing a crucial role in the inflammation and recovery of spinal cord injury. Here we investigated gene expression levels at single cell level of immune cells which distribute in the uninjured spinal cord and the lesion area at 1, 3, 7, 14, and 28 days after spinal cord injury. Heterogeneity analysis was performed to reveal the immune response after injury and how it is altered over time.
