ScRNA-seq of CD4+ T cells from mouse allergic airway inflammation model and human patients with eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis (ECRS)
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: A unique subpopulation of memory Th2 cells expressing the interleukin-33 receptor ST2 contributes to the pathogenesis of allergic diseases; however, the immune-metabolic mechanisms that induce ST2hi memory Th2 cells in inflamed tissues remain uncertain. Using single-cell RNA-sequencing (scRNA-seq), we revealed active lipid storage and catabolism during ST2hi memory Th2 cell induction in inflamed murine lungs and nasal polyps from patients with ECRS.
