Glucocorticoid receptor action in mouse granulosa cells in response to LH surge
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Cortisol is important for folicle survival and oocyte quality. Its ligand, glucocorticoid receptor (GR), is induced in granulosa cells in response to the LH surge, and emerging data suggests that GR plays a role in ovulation. To determine the interrelationship between different steroid receptors in the ovarian context, we generated comprehensive GR cistrome datasets from granulosa cells in response to in vivo LH stimulus.
