Hypotensive major health effect of Rubus ulmifolius Schott. and Artemisia campestris L. highlighted by nutrigenomic and cardiovascular studies

ABSTRACT: To evaluate the antihypertensive effect of Artemisia campestris and Rubus ulmifolius, we conducted a nutrigenomic analysis to examine the changes induced by the administration of the aqueous extracts of these plants on gene expression in mice. Cardiovascular effects were discussed together with antitumoral, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and eating behavior effects.
