Single-cell RNA sequencing of the median eminence and hypothalamic periventricular region in male and female mice


ABSTRACT: Using single-cell RNA sequencing, we catalogued sexually-dimorphic cellular and molecular heterogeneity of tanycytes and other median eminence and periventricular region (ME-PV) cell types under metabolically challenging state such as high-fat diet (HFD) induced obesity, while also considering the variations influenced by estrous cycle stages in standard diet (SD) fed female mice.
