MicroRNA expression profiling of synovial fluid in early and late Osteoarthritis and comparison with Rheumatoid Arthritis
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study employed miRNA microarray profiling to characterize differential expression patterns in synovial fluid samples (n=14) obtained from patients with osteoarthritis across different disease stages, as well as from patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Comparative analyses were performed to explore variations in miRNA expression associated with disease progression and across related arthritic conditions. Selected miRNAs were further evaluated using quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) in an independent validation cohort comprising early-stage osteoarthritis, late-stage osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis patients.
