ABSTRACT: Microglia (MG), the brain-resident macrophages, play key roles in the development and maintenance of brain circuits throughout life.Our previous data demonstrated a correlation between maternal-derived GZMB and the activation of embryonic microglia cells, as well as behavioral abnormalities in offspring. Here, we employ single-cell sequencing technology to analyze the heterogeneity of embryonic microglia cells induced by maternal immune activation, including the role of GZMB in this process
