Investigating the effects of liquid handling robot pipetting speed on yeast growth and gene expression using growth assays and RNA-seq

ABSTRACT: This study utilizes the robotic OT-2 platform to systematically investigate the effects of varying pipetting speeds on yeast growth and gene expression. By employing RNA-seq and growth assays, we observed no significant differences in yeast growth and gene expression within the range of pipetting speeds investigated. Our findings reveal the potential of robotic platforms for optimizing culture conditions and enhancing reproducibility and accuracy in biological experiments, thus providing valuable insights for future research.
