Integrated multi-omic analysis of GATA2 and GATA3 unveil their master regulatory roles on the trophoblast fate [CUT&Tag]
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The commitment and differentiation of human placental progenitor cells are crucial for a successful pregnancy, but the underlying regulatory mechanism remains poorly understood. Here we identified the transcription factor (TF), GATA2 and GATA3, exerting genetic redundancy, for cell fate decision of trophoblast cells. Mechanistically, GATA2&3 maintain stemness of TSC by occupying open chromatin regions, mediating promoter activity, enhancer activity.
