Effect of butyrate stimulation on CD19 CAR-T cells for the treatment of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Gut microbiota plays a pivotal role in the development and function of the immune system, therefore it has been described as an important factor for the efficacy and safety of immunotherapy, including CAR-T. The mechanisms by which this occurs are not well understood. Short Chain Fatty Acids (SCFAs) are metabolites derived from the microbial fermentation that are involved in the regulation of metabolic, endocrine and immune function. In this study we analyze the transcriptomic changes that SCFA butyrate generates in CAR-T cells.
