The Role of Orphan GPCR GPR153 in Regulating Vascular Damage Responses
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Expression of GPR153 is upregulated in response to damage both in smooth muscle cells and endothelial cells. We found knockdown of GPR153 in SMC reduced the ligation-induced neointima formation, and GPR153 defeciency in EC protect the mice from neuroinflammation. The mechanism of orphan GPCR GPR153 in regulating cell signaling were studied in SMC, EC and HEK293t cell lines.
