Gene expression analysis in obsessive-compulsive disorder with and without comorbid neurodevelopmental disorders
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is an intractable disease with a prevalence of 2-3%. Despite treatment with antidepressants, its pathogenesis remains unclear. Recent research suggests immunological mechanisms, particularly in OCD comorbid with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) like ASD, ADHD, and TD. This study investigates immune factors involved in OCD and its comorbidities. To reveal the mechanism, RNA-Seq was performed.
