Single-cell RNA Sequencing dissects cellular phenotypes linked to dysregulated mucosal wound healing in diabetes and aging
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Aging and diabetes exert a disruptive wound healing process. We use single-cell RNA-sequencing (scRNA-seq) data from palatal oral wounds in young, aged and diabetic mice to investigate immune and stromal cells heterogeneity to understand their role in wound repair.
