Transcriptomics profiling of singleton and twin placentas in the absence or presence of preeclampsia.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Twin pregnancies incur a higher risk for preeclampsia (PE) than singletons, but the pathogenesis might differ. To better understand this, we performed RNA sequencing on 32 individual dichorionic (D) and monochorionic (M) twin placental samples grouped by clinical PE diagnosis and 10 newly sequenced singleton (S) PE placentas.
