Impact of phosphomimetic Raptor S791D mutation on gene expression in brown adipocyte

ABSTRACT: To determine the impact of Raptor S791 phosprylation on borwn adipocyte function and metabolism, we previously established HIB-1B brown adipocyte models that stably expresses a wide-type (WT) RAPTOR or a Ser to Asp (S791D) phosphorylation-mimetic RAPTOR mutation (Liu et al., JCI, 2016). In this study we performed RNA-seq experiment to determine the trasncriptomic changes between the WT and S791D brown adipocytes.
