Transcriptome sequencing of E. coli-infected macrophages and E. coli-infected macrophages treated with PGD2 inhibitors

ABSTRACT: The pathogenesis of endometritis in dairy cows is related to pathogenic microorganisms, local inflammatory injury and uterine microecological disorders. Escherichia coli (E. coli) is the main causative pathogen of endometritis in dairy cows. Therefore, we investigated E. coli-induced endometritis mechanisms in dairy cows using bovine bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs).E. coli infection was performed on BMDMs for 4 hours. BMDMs were pretreated with PGD2 inhibitors (H-PGDS Inhibitor 1, HQL-79) for 24 hours, followed by E. coli infection for 4 hours. Samples were collected and evaluated.
