ABSTRACT: This study demonstrates the consequence of PDGFRα+ fibroblast ablation in adult lung homeostasis in both steady-state and asthmatic conditions. Our study highlight that the essential roles of PDGFRα+ fibroblast in maintaining immune balance, ECM integrity, and how their loss disrupts these processes, contributing to worsening of asthma.
