Hypoxia Induces Endothelial Cell Transition into Circulating Endothelial Cells in Post-Transplant Thrombotic Microangiopathy.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We report a case of post-transplant thrombotic microangiopathy (PT-TMA) in a kidney transplant patient. Combining renal biopsy with single-cell sequencing revealed significant endothelial damage and elevated circulating endothelial cells (CECs). Hypoxia pathways played a critical role in CEC formation, providing new insights into PT-TMA pathogenesis.
