Profiling non-human primate exosomal RNA to understand the legacy of early life stress
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Motivated to identify novel molecular pathways and processes that are enduringly perturbed as a consequence of childhood maltreatment, we isolated circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from plasma collected from adolescent rhesus macaques. RNA sequencing revealed that macaque plasma EVs contain RNA aligned to the microbiome.
