Study on the Compound Biological Effects of Polystyrene Microplastics and Cadmium on Bellamya aeruginosa


ABSTRACT: By analyzing the transmission and accumulation of polystyrene and cadmium single and combined pollution in the body of the Bellamya aeruginosa through the food chain, this study reveals the enrichment situation of polystyrene and cadmium combined pollution in the Bellamya aeruginosa at a high trophic level. It also analyzes its effects on the physiological and ecological toxicity, mechanisms, and transcription characteristics of the Bellamya aeruginosa.
