Gene expression of basal alonal, luminal alonal, basal and luminal aggregates during collective migration
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Breast epithelium has two types of epithelial cells: basal and luminal. We found that basal cells promote the leadership of luminal cells during duct development and collective migration, but it is not clear how. Here, through this sequencing, we found that basal cells promote oxidative phosphorylation of luminal cells through EFNA3, allowing it to play a role in migration.
