ABSTRACT: We used single cell RNA-sequencing (scRNAseq) to assess the maturation of inhibtory neurons in and migrating into the developing cortical plate of E18 mouse embryos, in an effort to understand gene expression programs that are dynamically regulated at this timepoint and to develop gene expression-based measures of "maturity" for this celltype.
