Fluoxetine promotes recovery from noise-induced cochlear neural degeneration


ABSTRACT: Fluoxetine treatment after noise exposure restored cochlear synaptic expression of brevican and decreased low-frequency hearing thresholds. In cochlear nuclei, fluoxetine treatment decreased the expression of PNN and was predicted to upregulate the neuropeptide signaling pathway
