ABSTRACT: A High-salt diet induces immune-independent re-differentiation, metabolic shut down and cell-cycle arrest of melanoma through upregulation of MITF, TSC2 and p18, leading to metabolic shutdown, cell cycle arrest and melanogenesis as well as re-differentiation.
