Effect of miR-4800-3p overexpression on gene expression related to metastasis in pancreatic cancer cell lines (MIA PaCa-2 and PSN-1)
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Understanding the molecular characteristics of pancreatic cancer liver metastases is essential for advancing individualized treatment strategies. This study identifies miR-4800-3p as a potential contributor to liver metastasis. miR-4800-3p appears to promote liver metastasis by directly targeting PLAA, inhibiting ubiquitination, and stabilizing METTL3 protein. This process enhances the expression of the oncogene GPRC5A, potentially driving metastatic progression.
