Single cell RNAseq of FACS isolated embryonic enteroendocrine cells reveals regulators of neuroepithelial circuit formation
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We have employed a single cell RNA sequencing approach using 10X genomics pipeline to evaluate the transcriptome of embryonic enteroendocrine cells (EECs) isolated from E15, E16, and E17 murine proximal intestine. Terminally differentiated EECs first arise at E15 and form new interactions with neural projectinos in the mucosa at E16 and E17. We evaluated the transcriptome of individual cells to identify regulators of neuronal interactions and communication during circuit formation.
