Transcriptional profiling of the striatum from METH self-administered rats, including those after 12 and 24 hours of abstinence.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study aimed to identify transcriptome markers for diagnosis in each phase of METH self-administration and abstinence after METH self-administration, and to investigate the role of these markers. In addition, we aimed to identify transcriptomes involved in resistance to drug-seeking behavior in a group that did not show drug-seeking behavior after METH self-administration, and to elucidate their roles. We identified an impressive transcriptomes in the striatum of rats during repeated METH administration and abstinence phases.
