Linc01446 contributes to ferroptosis defence and progression of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma by regulating APEX1

ABSTRACT: Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is a frequent malignant tumor worldwide, especially in China. The concrete mechanisms involved in the progression of ESCC remain elusive. Ferroptosis is a novel type of programmed cell death whose functions in ESCC is to be defined. Thus, we analyzed the differential genes involved in ferroptosis of ESCC. Then, we screened the crucial gene and determine its function and related mechanisms.
