Transcriptomic analysis of flies at different days of starvation
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Purpose: Adaptation to changing environmental conditions is essential for survival. When animals adapt to nutrient shortage, intra-organ responses as well as inter-tissue crosstalk mechanisms need to be mounted to coordinate whole-body energy homeostasis. To address this we collected flies at different day of starvtion for transcriptomic analysis Methods: snRNA-seq analysis of whole-body flies (without heads) at fed, day2 and day5 of starvation Results: The data provides information of transcriptome alternations related to adaptation of staravtion, including expression of metabolic genes and organ communications. Conclusions: Expression of many metabolic genes were changed during staravtion and oenocytes play a role in this adaptation
